Attention Delta And (maybe) Northwest Flyers

FANTASTIC RENTAL CAR PROMOTION.

Now through March 31st when you rent a car for even one day you can receive 5000 Delta Skymiles. You must be a Skymiles member and add your account number to the rental.

I’ve added Northwest flyers as a possible beneficiary due to the proposed merger and potential combination of accounts in the future.

Here is how I play this one. One day weekend rentals at my local airport Hilton Head Island are $20.81 for a compact/economy car on weekends, by using BCD code U093300. Three rentals in one weekend. (pickup Friday-drop off Saturday, pick up Saturday-drop off Sunday, pick up Sunday-drop off Monday, I can earn 15K Delta miles for $63. If I multiple that times the 4 weekends in March (weekend rentals are much cheaper)., I can earn 60,000 Delta Miles for $252. 60K miles is a First Class ticket to the Caribbean or two coach tickets to Mexico. There is no limit to the number of rentals allowed. Some of you may find this and inexpensive way to earn a domestic ticket ($105 in my market) or use it to just bounce up your account balance to the next reward level.
