Made it to South Carolina Friday night and all is still the same. I left Detroit airport by car on the 2nd and could see my breath as I walked to the car. Here it is shorts and flip flops til spring time.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I was planning on using my Aunt Chiladas gift card to pick up the tab, but instead used some of my brand new $1 coins to pay the birthday bill. The gift card I had planned on using was bought during the last American Airlines Rewards Network Promo, where I got double for any monthly purchase over $100. I bought a $500 card and ended up with 10,000 AA miles after the double and rate a dine bonus. Continental Mastercard I Finally Mad
It took me ling enough but I finally called on the missing 21K from my June credit card signup. The CSR response was yes we do owe you the miles, but I’ll have to send in for an investigation and crediting.Sounds like another 7 to 10 days, but darn it, going on 4 months is long enough. I should have called a month ago.
Where is My Folder?
Today, Sunday, we actually move into our place and can start emptying boxes. We shipped 6 down and I need to find my frequent flyer folder. I know I need to buy a few tickets to position for trips but can not remember dates and times, or at this point even where I’m going half the time. It will be nice to get settled and start sending out promos and tips Monday.
