Up through October 31st you could transfer your Skymiles to another member in increments of 30,000 miles for $30 processing fee and 1 penny per mile. Katy and I did a double swap. She sent me 115,000 miles and I transferred 150K (some to her and some to a friend for a hotel swap).
It was more expensive than the Budget Card deal, but that is “Over Rover” with the new 3 per customer restriction and the 15th of November deadline is only two weeks away.
So now I’ve got a credit card bill (ugh) and 300,000 miles (in 4-6 weeks) with the world’s largest airline and Katybug has 120K. My understanding is the Singapore Airlines First Class experience is the best there is. Any comment from someone that has done it to confirm?
