What an easy disembarkation. One of our travelling companions arranged for us to have express checkout and we were off the ship by 7:15 AM and headed north by 7:45.
The last day on board was by the pool as we had no interest in the line to get on the shuttle to Coco Cay. The rest of our party went and enjoyed the day on the beach, but a lousy barbecue Katy and I hit the main dining room as it was empty and I scored some nice Seafood Jambalaya with calamari, octipi, scallops, shrimp and other things I’m not quite sure of. The sit down brought back memories of hosting tables when Katy worked for Holland America. I guess we are just cafeteria kind of people as eating with strangers is not our cup of tea. I even skipped dessert to get away from the eight others strangers at the table. If we had something in common, sure, but we don’t and we just ate were polite and left when finished as another couple did as well.
Al in all I’d recommend that itinerary for a first time cruiser or somebody just wanting a quick get away. It was nothing fancy, but the ship had all the amenities we needed.
