You Gotta Love American Express Customer Service

I have a Starwood SPG card that I’ve had for years and I’m getting a little jealous about the 15K extra SPG points all you new card holders get for $15K in spend. I wrote the American Express Secure Customer Service Center asking if my card offered the 15K SPG points for $15K in spending.

Thank you for your e-mail. I am sorry but currently, we do not have a promotion for bonus Starpoints for using the Card within a specific time period. Because we value your membership, I have issued 2,000 Starpoints to your account. You will see this adjustment on an upcoming statement. I hope that I was able to answer your inquiry.We truly appreciate your business with American Express and would like to serve you for many more years.
