The change of plans sent me in a dizzy. First of all, I really wanted to see the Phi Phi Islands. Second, I had a reservation which said that if I cancelled, I’d be charged one night’s stay. I hate that part. But they refunded all 45,000 points immediately. Maybe they will try to charge my credit card for one night, but I’ll dispute that as my first nights stay rate was 15,000 points. Anybody have experience cancelling a reservation as a Platinum?
Now we are out of a room and trying to book the best rate which is a Visa promotion of “buy two get one free”, but I don’t carry my Visa card.
And the internet price is huge, but a big discount for a 1 week stay instead of 24 hour blocks, but I’m only staying 7 nights from right now, maybe. And if I don’t decide today, then the one day rate is the same, give or take a few bucks.
These are what I would characterize as “high class problems”.
The grounds are magnificent with flowers and trees everywhere providing shade and seclusion. There are three pools and we have chosen the one in front of our room instead of the larger one with all the children running and screaming or the one on the far side of the resort.
Thanks again readers for offering to help with the Visa Promotion.
