Doesn’t it seem like ages since the last super duper frequent flyer promotion? Aside from all the huge credit card bonuses, we need a biggie promo. With the flights all full and the airlines putting a few bucks in the bank, they don’t seem very motivated to offer us a windfall. With autumn approaching we should see a change for the better. I’m looking forward to some strong rental car promos this fall.
I’m noticing a significant increase in blog readership and my email box needs emptying 3 times per day. One thing you can do to help your fellow frugal travelers is chip in with some answers in the comments section. I honestly can’t keep up with them all. I know you veterans can provide some guidance to our newbies. Please take a moment when you have it to help them if you can. I’d appreciate the help.
The Frugal Travel Guy Handbook edits are completed and at the pros that are formatting into Kindle and Createspace documents. I’m amazed at the number of apostrophes (sp) I missed, the definition of “effect” and “affect” I screwed up, and with the number of people that chipped in, about 10, the variety of things that they each missed as well.
I want to send a special thank you to Bonnie who did a really complete job page by page. She was the best English teacher I ever had. I think I got Delta Skyclub passes to all that contributed in the edit. Everyone was a winner in that contest. When I add chapters and topics in future years, we will start with a solid well edited foundation.
Later this week it is off to the Big Apple to see my last two major league ballparks. I was current until last year when the Yankees and Mets opened new stadiums and I’m glad to be back having seen every active major league park. If there any Long Island, New Yorkers, looking for a coffee partner, just drop me an email.
