I am at 413,000 total miles and even Platinum with Continental and have never been on a plane or spent $1 with them (wife+me+United miles+status match with Delta)!

I plan to burn mine with FIRST CLASS tickets and enjoy the LUFTHANSA first class "building" and first class cabin on 2x trips to Sweden next year(I know I have a few more points to earn)!

I'm in the same boat Rick. THanks to you getting me hooked on this hobby we have 268,000 CO miles to burn. I too would really like to find a way to get these into SPG points. We're going to Austria this summer and I really need another 30k points to use for a great hotel in Salzburg. Burned up the rest on Vienna. Can't find a way to do it though. Even moving MR from Amex is bad use of points 1SPG per 3MR….yuck

Personally with that many miles, I;d look to use them for travel. CO has very reasonable RTW tickets (as compared with united, last I checked). You can get a business class RTW for 220 or upgrade it to F for 280,000 (ever wanted to try emirates or singapore F product? here's your chance). I'm looking at doing the same thing with my tickets for my honeymoon next year – stops to include Rome, Maldives, Sydney, and LAX.

how can one convert Chase Saphire points to Marriott or other Hotel points and what are the conversion rates?

60K SIGNUP BONUS: I just got my Chase Continental Card in the mail and called to activate it. I've been a bit foggy lately cause I've been traveling, so when the rep confirmed that I was getting 50k miles for using this card, I said, "I thought I was getting 60k for the first purchase." He paused, and said…okay I'll take care of that. And I confirmed later in the conversation that he indeed gave me 60K. 10k more just for asking. How wild is that!

TIP: During the trip (i flew continental) i noticed they were giving me 7414 miles per leg, but actual miles was 8033 miles per leg, so I took a picture of the MAP screen with my seat ticket to prove we flew 8033 miles, and you can bet I'm gonna write a letter of complaint.
