- Chase Sapphire Preferred Card: 22.1%
- Premier Rewards Card: 9.6%
- Citi Aadvantage Cards (all varieties): 8.2%
- Cap One cards (all varieties): 5.6%
- Hilton Honors Visa Cards: 5.1%
- Amex Platinum Card: 4.5%
- British Airways Card: 4.5%
Followed by Continental Airlines, Chase Freedom, UA Mileage Plus, Schwab 2%, Chase Marriott, Priority Club, PenFed, US Airways SW, Alaska and Flexperks in that order.
There are no surprises here in my view. The Premier Rewards card is up there because of the bump the bonus opportunity The Citi AAdvantage cards are due to the 75K offer and everyone racing for the million miles lifetime club deadline. People can see the benefit if the bonus categories of the Hilton Honors cards, and the Plat card from Amex is lower in the standings because of the big sign up fee.
This is a very sophisticated group of readers and travelers and the benefits overall seem to indicate that the good old favorite. Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express is still number one but the Chase SapphireSM Preferred Card is coming up strong with their outstanding customer service and that 2 points on dining adjustment didn’t hurt them either.
