If you go to Delhi via the west coast and Chicago like Lucky did from Tampa, you will get over 20k BIS miles in one round-trip, all AA metal. But you will need to get a visa for India.

Haha. Goes for blog readers as well. Sometimes what ya read may be a bit annoying; but ya wanna be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water. I possibly got my most helpful tip this year from The Points Guy; but the last couple of months, not much there for me. In the beginning I wasn't real crazy about MommyPoints, but now it's second from the top on my daily readings. This past week, I had to really stretch my memory to come up with FrequentFlyerBonuses, which had a piece of information that saved the day for my travel plans(dollars).

I love the sense of community with travel bloggers. Thanks for promoting it. Your blog got me on the road to nearly free travel. My family and I are truly grateful to you. Because of you, we (family of 4) traveled to Hawaii and Wyoming this year and we're going to Hawaii and Disney next year. Hawaii is only going to cost us $115 for airfare, 6-nights at the Hyatt Regency on Maui, and $200 for incidentals. Disney is only going to cost us $60 for airfare and 5 nights at Disney Swan Resort.

Why not go SAV-MIA-EZE? That'll get you the miles. It's overnight both ways (so you can do a quickturn), and they've got lay-flat first class (and angled Biz class) on that 777. You could also route the DFW if you wanted.

Hey, you know me, I don't do MRs so maybe this is crazy and a pain. However, there is little impact from time zones, which lessens the pain. We did almost this identical itinerary in February. It should also keep you free of weather related issues at this time of year.
