United is offering double EQMs on flights between ORD and LAX, SNA, or SFO. Only for residents of Illinois or California.

The Points Guy posted that British Airways is offering 10% off flights (incl. taxes) when using the BA Chase Visa.

Radisson is giving away 50,000 points to the first 50,000 people who register for the promotion and stay at any Radisson by the end of the year (Dec. 30). Registration opens in about 5 days so I wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they were planning to stay at a Radisson before the end of the year. After the first 50,000 people, everyone will still receive 15,000 bonus points.

Thanks for great tips about making the minimum spend. I'm all for getting the most out of credit cards — especially when purchasing goods where the merchants have added the credit card fees into the price of the product.

But, I also work for a nonprofit, and know that we have to pay the credit card fee on all of the donations we receive from credit cards — but we don't on donations that come from cash or a check. So, I would just encourage everyone to think about writing a check if you can when giving to nonprofits who could benefit from receiving the full donation amount rather than just 95% of it.

I just found out today you can pay your auto insurance w/ credit card. They don't advertise it, but if you go to their website it's an option…
