Last weeks winning tip on Apps goes to K20, two great Apps.
“WorldMate and Tripit.
The apps keep all your travel plans in one place, organizes flights/meetings/hotels etc into an itinerary by trip. They’ll even send updates on flight delays, etc.Extra things like weather forecasts to trip cities, currency converter calculator, tip calculator, hotel finders, etc.are at your fingertips all in one place.
You can post your trip/info on Facebook, Twitter and Linked In easily with these apps. With Linked In- it even shows who you know that lives in the city you’re visiting-and their info if needed. Plus you can send your trip info to anyone you choose.
It’s a great way to be organized! I’ve been using WorldMate and like how it’s available even in foreign countries when I have no phone or wifi service. Don’t know the address of the hotel? Click on it-up opens all the info, address, phone number, confirmation #, how much you paid, etc. One more plus, it achives your trips so you have all flight numbers, etc available years later.”- K20
Hopefully in September of 2012 my husband and I will be going to a work conference in Kauai. I am so excited because I missed out on an opportunity to go with our entire family to Kauai in December. I have been to the island once and I loved every minute of it, so you can imagine my feelings as my hubby told me where his conference would be. The business will cover hotel expenses during he 4 day conference and it will all take place at the Grand Hyatt Kauai . Rick and my mom will probably be joining us and staying at the Hyatt also as Rick has a bunch of Hyatt points, of course. The bummer is, we do not, so I spent some time looking into their program. This is what I’ve found.
