@ Rick – another reason to never ever lower your bid for a bump with Delta is the fact that you can only use one voucher per ticket now as of 15DEC2011!

So if you split up you will not get the benefits of say a GOLD medallion booking all the seats on one PNR and all getting free bags etc etc!

@Anon – not any more. As you can see in line 5: "A maximum of one voucher per passenger may be applied and used on one ticket."

Rick, were you able to learn the amount of the winning bid bump?

The photos on the drowned camera's memory card are likely to still be retrievable. I would soak the card in distilled water for a day or so (changing the water twice), then let it thoroughly dry and see if anything is readable using a card reader. Google for more info.

So you didn't even put in a bid?? I had a flight that was over but no mention during OLCI just announcement at gate. Offered $200 and non-stop on another carrier getting in at same time as original flight. I still would have bid anyway whatever the highest amount was. $200 min was standard for short delays a few years ago in DL. Can't really whine about it if you didn't even make an attempt. Did they need vols after all?
