I just got an email from AA regarding double miles on various Alaska flights, including one from Burbank (my home city) to Portland. I wanted to use this for a trip to my parent’s 50th anniversary.

Good fares between AUS and TPA in the next month. Usually tracks ~$400, booked $159.20 ai yesterday for 5/28-6/1. Similar fares available on United as well.

Haven’t seen anyone mention this, but just received a letter in the mail from BA stating that for every dollar spent on your BA card between April 1 to June 30, you will earn 2.5 Avios points (up to $4k or 10k avios points). Pretty slick 3 month bonus, especially if you just got the card and need to meet the spend requirement anyways.

You can transfer Citi ThankYou points between accounts, but the transferred points expire after 90 days if you don’t redeem them.

AA is beating SunCountry fares from MSP to DFW for the dates I looked at, which is really incredible. Of course, you have to fly at the same time as the SunCountry flight, which might not work for some.
