The following is a list of useful websites to check a credit card application status and also a series of numbers when looking to find out application status, inquire about increase in credit lines, credit analysts (reconsideration specialists), or retention specialists. I’ve compiled this list either through personal use or a bit of scouring at the request of others.

Bookmark this post and keep it handy when you’re applying for one card of a bunch of cards; either way, it’ll likely give you the answer to “Am I approved?” or “What do I have to do to get approved?”

Make sure you sign up for the radisson big night giveaway. Registration has started this morning for radisson and country inn. That’s 94k x 2 for just one night stay if you can do it with your spouse . Find a location that has both. So check in first night for you at radisson and country inn for spouse n check out early next morning then check in n out for the second reservation the same day.

For the Radisson promotion, get eight family members or friends to do the stays for you while you pay for the reservation and then convert the 400K CC points to UA/AA miles and it’s enough for a one-way First Class redemption to Asia/Europe. When booking a roundtrip Award travel on united to/fr Hawaii you can add in not only a stopover but two open jaws. For instance you can go lax to ewr, ewr to hnl, then ogg to sfo all for 40k points. Just be sure to search by multi city and of course there needs to be award availability

Capital One Venture has a little known great feature: access to Perk Central Shopping Mall. While it also has bonus miles for various retailers, an unique feature of Perk Central is that you can activate a few offers and then just use your card at those retailers to get the bonus miles automatically.

For example, right now Perk Central has 5 bonus miles per $ on AMC Theatres. Normally you get 2 miles per $ on any spend. So if you use Capital One Venture at AMC, you get 7 miles per $, better than any card I know! You can also double dip it with Upromise.
