KLM announced that Istanbul is the location where the sales will happen from Canada…. Basically any city in Canada that KLM flies(Westjet rather) is on sale to Istanbul, with a layover in Amsterdam. From YVR,YYC,YYZ,YUL $700, and $750 from YEG. Dates are wide open from Oct 2012-May 2013. Can get it low as 5cpm YEG-YVR-AMS-IST.

Good fare even without miles but great for a mileage run for Skyteam.

One twist on the current transfer bonus of Amex Membership rewards points to JetBlue points, you can now use Trueblue points on Hawaiian valued roughly 50 points per dollar of Hawaiian fare, that is 2 cents per mile and a better value than using them on JetBlue.

Save hundreds of dollars in fees by transferring BA Avios to Iberia Avios.

Example:
I’ve booked a one-way Iberia flight from MAD-ORD using Ultimate Reward points that I transfered to British Airways Avios. The BA cost was 40000 avios and $313 in fees and taxes.

However, I’ve since learned that you can transfer BA Avios to Iberia Avios on the BA website using the “Combine my Avios feature”. The BA site says the transfer is instant.
The Avios miles required on Iberia stays the same (40000), but the fees and taxes when booking through Iberia Avios drop to 61 Euro or about $80, saving about $230 in fees. I haven’t tried other bookings with American through Iberia, but I imagine it may work there also.
