My tip is about the new card called the Wallaby Card. You “add” all your credit card accounts to this card. When you go to make a purchase, you use the Wallaby Card and it automatically chooses the card that would give you the best rewards for that purchase (out of your current cards). If one of your credit cards has a special that month on gas purchases, the Wallaby Card knows that and might choose that card for your gas purchases that month. It takes all the guesswork out of choosing which card to use to maximize rewards. (It also keeps in mind your credit line limits and cash back maximums.) http://www.walla.by/

If you’re holding the Citi AAdvantage card, don’t forget about the reduced mileage fares from Citi - https://creditcards.citi.com/reward-programs/american-airlines-aadvantage-reward-program-reduced-mileage-awards/). While using Avios can be good for short-haul distances, the reduced awards pair well with the perk Citi added recently – 10% rebate on redeemed miles up to 100k/year. Pairing the reduced award of 17,500 miles along with the 10% rebate can get a family of 4 from DFW-YUL (Montreal) non-stop for 63,000 after the rebate (normally a 100,000k redemption). My tip is don’t use topcashback as they have stiffed many people out of their radisson 10% cask back. They are a shady operation IMHO, stay away!
