In total I’ve shared eight different redemption’s. Whether you like the beach life, exotic experiences, city walking, or a family vacation … there are options for everyone. This morning we showed you how to accumulate over 300,000 points … yet you’ll see these redemption’s all under 150,000 points.
As a feature of the Hilton branded American Express credit cards a special award for 4 night stays are offered at a discount of 145,000 points for a top category award or 125,000 for a category 6 (AXON award); this represents the best value from normal levels of 50,000 and 40,000 points per night.

CONRAD MALDIVES, RANGALI ISLAND
Quite simply one of the most breath-taking locations on this amazing planet we live on. I’ve been there twice; I should know. I’m still trying to get my breath back 
The first time I was lucky enough to visit, it was a little easier on the jet-lag as I traveled from Europe where I was living … but in those days it was a Hilton, now it is re-branded a Conrad. One of the upgrades is a brand new underwater restaurant on a gorgeous natural reef. Sharks cruise by while you eat gourmet food under the ocean.
The service is amazing and the rooms are straight from heaven; as you would expect from a heavenly island that will remain in your best dreams forever. The only problem is when you wake up and you are not there.
REDEMPTION: AXON Award 145,000 points for 4 nights. Rates are north of $1000 a night sometimes, and that’s for a standard room!

CONRAD HONG KONG, PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA
Ahhhhh Asian hospitality, there’s nothing quite like it when it’s singing in fine tune. This hotel gets it right every time. The rooms are not huge but the 61st concierge floor with fabulous free food for elite members makes up for it with just stunning view of Hong Kong harbor, Kowloon, and the surrounding mountains. It is situated on Hong Kong Island in a decent location (not the very best) but taxi cabs are plentiful and very cheap to run anyway. All in all this hotel is truly above it’s 5 star category; if it was up to me I’d tack on another star.

WALDORF ASTORIA PARK CITY, UTAH, USA
Impeccable service and gracious style await each arrival at Waldorf Astoria Park City. HILTON ROSE HALL RESORT, MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA
Here’s a great redemption for families. It’s a high redemption at 60,000 points per night, BUT it’s all inclusive so all food, alcohol, and daily non stop entertainment is “free”. For those with very young kids where it is difficult if not impossible to sample local restaurants this is a good option. The class of hotel is not near Waldorf or Conrad standards, but it consistently tops reviews and awards including a TripAdvisor traveler’s choice 2012 award for family. The service and amenities here should be the pride of Jamaica.
REDEMPTION: 60,000 / night … but all inclusive!

The impeccable Conrad NYC located in Lower Manhattan, overlooking the River Hudson, this hotel’s features include over-sized suites, and a seasonal rooftop bar known as the Loopy Doopy. It is quite simply how all hotels should be, with classic understated service that will make think twice about the Big Apple attitude.

Below are a couple of unusual redemption’s that present a fantastic value for the points.
Two hours north of Sapporo City in Northern Japan this one is not for everyone as it is a long way from the US. This is a ski in, ski out resort with a complimentary gondola to take you to the top of the mountain in 7 minutes. Picture this my friends: great skiing followed by a long soak in the natural hot springs in the hotel, followed by amazing authentic real sushi. Yes please!

BATANG AI LONGHOUSE RESORT, MALAYSIA
For the more adventurous amongst us this is exotic as it gets deep in the jungle of Malaysia. Activities include an inspiring Orangutan rehabilitation center, rainforest treking, jungle BBQs, and kayaking on the neighboring lake.
