I read your comments on FT and am extremely disappointed in you. Are you serious?!? UA should not have to honor this mistake and will not. Even if people bring frivolous lawsuits. To the few people who got to travel before UA said no, good for them. No reasonable person should expect UA to honor the mistake.

Have to agree with the other recent posters: accusing United of age discrimination? Seriously? This site had already become inessential, but this is a new low point.
