This is the 3rd time this year American Express has had a one-day bump in the Business Gold Rewards Card. Make sure you take screenshots and print the offer terms and conditions. Many folks reported having to follow-up on their points the last two times around. Be smart and have all the details handy.

Regarding applications for business credit cards, if I occasionally get paid for travel bookings or sell decorated cakes for weddings, etc., is this enough to justify as a business? What if I do not have a legal business name? What can count towards my business income?

completely depends on your scenario. you run a risk of being denied for too many inquiries, but it depends on where you past inquiries went to and what cards you applied for

Without the mint, these 10k spend offers are worthless to people without a chunk of business spend to throw on the card…Amex and INK have responded to all those people who “suddenly” had businesses and got cards just for the bonuses…..and thanks to bloggers promoting angles to claim you have a business, we have the beginning of the end to lucrative signup bonuses.
I have a legit small business, but 10k is too much, there are still business cards out there with reasonable min spend, I’d rather get 2 or 3 of them instead of 1 offer like this.

My brother received a targeted offer for 75,000 miles for $2,000 in 4 months.

Can the offer code be transferred to a family member? My mother would
like to use it since he just canceled his Gold Rewards card a few months

in most cases no and if there are problems with points posting automatically you are not likely to get them, however you can try with an offer code with someone else s name/information.
