Writing about points and miles, how to find a great deal, or what signup bonus is the best one is easy. Sure, finding deals may require some work, but in the end its pretty black and white. The act of travel not so much… well, it used to be “easier”. No nude-o-scopes. No 3oz rule. No TSA… and then 9/11.
For those of us that travel for work, or are comfortable getting on a plane, going through the process and procedures it is a change… but we still do it. Fees, fare mistakes, middle seats, oversold flights, and bad weather… we still do it.
… and then there are so many that won’t. They’re intimidated, don’t want to be frustrated, or think they just can’t do it.
Take a minute today and just think about how amazing it is to have the opportunity be able to do what we do… and at the prices we can do it. Talk to someone, break down those barriers, and help them realize that they can do it. We’re blessed to be able to do what we do; share that!
On the lighter side, comedian Louis C.K. was on Conan O’Brien a few years ago and while it is comedy routine / interview, I bet you’ll either laugh or relate.
