Rick’s Review: This card offers the same benefits as the personal card and an opportunity for those of you with a small business (eBay seller, garage sales, etc) to gain another sign-up bonus and segregate your spending. 10,000 points on first purchase, 15K more after $5K of spending in 6 months is easy to reach and SPG points are the most valuable of all miles or points on the market today. Remember your best use of SPG points is the cash and points option for hotel redemptions when available. There is no first year fee and I gladly pay the $65 renewal fee each year for this card. Online customer service is fantastic. Apply now!
Here’s how I use this card: Katy and I used this card for our recent trip to the Westin St John US Virgin Islands using a get fifth night free award. It was a great value at 12,800 points when calculating in the Fifth night free. It will also be used at the Le Meridien in Barcelona as a cash and points redemption and we use it each year at the Shertaon Poipu Bay on Kauai as well.

Rick’s Review: $200 airline incidental credit doesn’t cover the cost of the $450 annual fee, but you do receive a 20% travel bonus when redeeming MRs and access to 600 partner lounges. Apply Now!
Here’s how I use this card: I use this card in a three card rotation to insure I have lounge access and am earning points for my annual fee each year. Look at this scenario: Year one apply for the Mercedes Benz card and the 50,000 point sign up with the $200 airline incidental reimbursement. The following year I’ll look to the personal version of the Platinum card. In year three I’ll apply for the business version of the card (this card) for the same goodies, (points, airline credit and lounge access). Come year fuor, your original card will have been closed for two full years and you could look to apply again for the sign up bonus as a new cardholder. Every year you earn points, $200 of airline credit and lounge access. A three card shuffle if you will.

|
Rick’s Review: Double up on your Delta miles with the Business card version in addition to the personal card. 30,000 miles after only $500 in spending in the first three months makes this an easy target to achieve. Priority boarding puts you on the plane in time to find a overhead bin and there is no annual fee for the first year. You’ll also receive savings of 3% to 10% on business expenses through OPEN savings. Apply Now!
Here’s how I would use the card: I currently don’t have this card, and feel a bit foolish for that. I’ll be getting one soon; being based in Savannah, Delta miles are a no-brainer for me.
