There are currently several hotel chains with active promotions going on. Some offer bonus points, while others are running giveaways. Here is a list of what is currently available:
Club Carlson
Club Carlson is running a Stay 3 Nights, Get 1 Free promotion. Registered participants can earn 38,000 bonus points after completing three nights. 38,000 points is enough for a free night at a Category 3-4 hotel, two free nights at a Category 2, and up to 4 nights at a Category 1 hotel.
You can make your points stretch even further with a Club Carlson Premier Visa Signature Card. Cardholders get their last night free when they redeem two or more. This means your 38,000 point bonus from the promotion could get you three nights in a Category 2 hotel (15,000 points). If you book your hotel stays in 2-night increments, you’d have 6 nights in a Category 1 hotel (9,000 points per night).
Hyatt
Registration for Hyatt’s Endless Possibilities Promotion is open. You can earn a free night after every 5th, which could be mattress run worthy if you play it right.
Hilton
As part of it’s Ultimate Weekender Sweepstakes, Hilton is giving away a weekend getaway every week of the year (say that fast five times). The prize consists of two free weekend nights, a $100 Hilton Honors gift card, and 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles.
If you don’t snag one of these prizes, you can still get two free weekend nights by picking up the Hilton Honors Reserve Card. The two weekend night certificates are paid out after $2,500 is spent within four months.
IHG Rewards Club
We covered IHG’s Lucky Draw promotion last week. Members can use IHG points to enter for a chance to win a grand prize of one million points, in addition to other prizes.
If you’re short on IHG points, check out this post on how to top off your account.
LaQuinta
If you aren’t yet addicted to the La Quinta Stay & Play game, kudos to you. You can earn free nights and thousands of points each day by playing the virtual slot machine.
Marriott
Register for Marriott’s Megabonus by March 31, 2014 and earn a free night at a Category 1-4 hotel after every second paid stay (up to 2 free nights). Valid on stays between February 1 – April 30, 2014.
Starwood Preferred Guest
Register for Starwood’s Bring on the Night promotion, which grants 2,500 points for every 5 nights completed through April 30, 2014. You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points this way. In addition, you’ll earn 5,000 bonus points for hitting 25 nights.
Another way to top off your Starpoints account? Pick up a Starwood Preferred Guest Credit or Business Card, for an additional 25,000 points (10,000 points after first spend and anther 15,000 points after $5,000 spent within 6 months)
Are you going to take advantage of any of these promotions?
